Name: Laurie Turner Mr Knox, I never missed an episode of Tour of Duty back in the 80's. It was my favorite TV show of the time. I have the box sets now and in honor of Veterans Day my husband and I ate chicken wings for dinner and watched a couple of episodes of Tour of Duty. What a great show. You were the best!! A truly GREAT actor. Thank you and all involved for such a meaningful show. It really helped me understand more about Vietnam and our great country's history. I hope to see you in something soon.
Name: Graeme Cusick Hi Terence, Loved watching Tour of Duty in the 80's and now watching them all for the second time with my boys and finding them as entertaining as I did 25 years ago. Zek was just so cool....Tough but a thinker... You did a great job, shame I haven't seen more of you in other projects. Thanks for the entertainment. Graeme Cusick
Name: kate Ive watched TOD since 1988 when I was just 11, I loved it then and loved it since ! I can even name what song featured on what episode. It was and always will be a classic ! My 13 year old heart broke when it finished in 1990 ! xx
Name: George Nethercutt Terry, where in the world are you? I need a boxing lesson. Call or write--www.nethercuttfoundation.org
Name: Dr. Martin Jacobsen I have all three seasons of Tour of Duty, and it's amazing how clearly I remember them from the original airings. It was one of the first shows that I taped and watched later (I worked nights then). I also admired your performance in the Twilght Zone episode "Cold Equations."
Name: Darlene Sullivan Just a note to let you know I'm in the process of watching the 1st season of Tour Of Duty- my son bought the set. Brings back great memories of the great actor you played- very funny but sweet singing to the baby- "baby Love". You are one of my all time fav actors & Tour Of Duty great show.
Name: Mauricio Rodriguez hi
Name: Steve Brochin Hey Terry, Just finished watching a "pretender" episode, and why don't you do another series. i t seems that with all that you have done..you have a wide range of possibilities...thank God for your talent....
Name: Christina d Terrance Knox is our modern day "John Wayne". Which is why my favorite TOD episode was that in which the little boy saw him as John Wayne and called him that by name.. I can still see the embarrassed look on Sgt. Anderson's face to be compared to John Wayne... priceless. I really hope TOD has a reunion show... Some things get better with age.. and after seeing Terrance Knox's recent photos, he is definitely one of them! I wonder how many women, like myself, fell in love with him?
Name: Darlene B. Sullivan My son & I used to love watching Tour Of Duty- it's probably one of the best loved shows ever. He recently bought the whole DVD set & is going to let me watch them once he's done. Zeke was probably the best loved character, then the LT. Too bad it didn't last longer. I didn't realize you had been in so many movies & shows although I saw you on some of them. Thanks for the entertainment.
Name: Herbert "Cee" Sexton, Jr Huge fan not just of TOD but of all your stuff. Glad to see you're still around and hope to see you again soon. Am re-watching the 1st season of TOD. Talk about bringing back memories. Good luck in everything and take care!
Name: anne pennery I really enjoyed the re-runs of st elswhere, the only thing wrong with the series was the scriptwriters making who I thought was the best- looking & most interesting character a rapist, & then killing him off.I would love to see re-runs of T.O.D., but all we get on british tv nowadays is reality shows.
Name: Sara I think Zeke Anderson is more brave, smart and handsome than Sgt. Saunders from Combat!
Name: Harry Nunez i used to watch tour of duty with my grandpa when i was 7 years old in Spanish while i lived in Peru early 90's. 20 years passed by and i always wonder about the show... since i knew the show in spanish I didn't know the title of the show in English when i moved to the USA... watched lots of shows trying to find this one and althou i vaguely could remember much about the show once i saw you on tour of duty i knew that was the show from my childhood! You are the man!
Name: Anthony Preece Hi, I would like to say I'm a huge fan of "Tour of Duty", I'd stay up late each week to watch it, I still own some episodes on original VHS! I'll have to upgrade them to DVD. Thank you so much for your hard work and entertainment!
Name: Franky Van de Water I've watched the tour of duty series together with my brother when we were in highshool. Now many years later (we both have kids now) the series still are one of the best we've seen. We loved your caracter...zeke..
Name: neale thanks for tour of duty, helped me through many a teenage year
Name: Carolyn Straight Mr Knox,
Name: Jennifer Scott I'm enjoying "St. Elsewhere" reruns on American Life Network. I think Dr. Peter White is one of the most memorable characters ever on television. Great work.
Name: Constance I just wanted to thank you for all the great work you have put out there. I really have enjoyed everything I have seen you do. I have to say, Zeke in ToD is my favorite, but I can't wait to see your upcoming projects! Keep up the great work.
Name: AMY I LOVE TOD!!
Name: SGT Ray Reyes Hello Mr. Knox, I want to say first and foremost,"Thank You" for your contribution as an actor. As a teenager in the late 80's, I'd watched "Tour of Duty" religiously every evening. My father and I would watch in silence seeing your troops go thru hell and back. It was one of the only past times both of us would ever do together. I'd asked him if he'd been in Vietnam during that time, yet, he would reply "I was in the Coast Guard back then". I would shrugged and dismissed it. I didn't find out until much later that my Dad, using my abilities in the Army to investigate, particpated in Vietnam during 1968 to 1970 as a Coast Guard man...he'd worked as a Crew Chief for Search and Rescue. He'd later became a pilot for another 20 such years yet, never told me about the Vietnam stories. I signed up for the Army as a M1 Crew-member in 1990 and never in my wildest dreams would ever participated in a shooting war. I just made it to Desert Storm and got myself in some crazy and hairy battles. I'd remember most of how you'd calmed your troops but either humor or confidence and would keep it inside me for comfort. That's another thank you from me to you. It was during Iraq Freedom that all that you've taught Lee.Tee and your troops (I should say the writers and tech advisors also)about leading your troops. I'd kept my boonie hat from Desert Storm and wore it proudly as I crossed Kuwait into the Iraqi unknown. On the side of my cover, I wrote, "Zeke" on my right side. My troops, averaging 20 years old...men and women, had no clue what it meant. As their Platoon Daddy, I challenged them that if anyone who'd came forward with the answer on Who or What is Zeke, I'd given them our platoon coin. You know what they did, they'd waited till the day we left Kuwait and all of them...40 of my troops sang, "Paint It Black". Mr. Knox, I sure hope you'll continue to inspire young men and women through your gift of acting. I know this is growing too long and I'd wish I can take one page. Yet, that would be too selfish. Again, Thank you and hope to hear from you soon. Ray Reyes
Name: Anthony Just stopped by to say thanks. Tour of Duty was an amazing show and you had a HUGE part in making it great.
Name: joyce i loved you and your take charge attitude in tour of duty your cha. serg zeek anderson and actor steven caffrey,s cha.lt. myron goldmen were what made the show so strong. my husband is a veitnam vet. and he loves to see the show because it brings back memories of his tour of duty in veitnam. we bought the entire 3 season series and just love it i wish thay would make a 2 hr. tour of duty movie with all you same origional stars in it i,d go see it then i,d buy it on dvd. well best of luck to you in your future and God bless
Name: Dave Andrews Thanks for tour of duty....it took me back to my 2 tours in the nam. Some good,
Name: Pattie Matheson Wow, how do I keep from falling all over myself here... I found Season One of Tour of Duty, watched it, went back and bought seasons Two and Three. I sure hope you guys are getting royalties! During the Vietnam years my Dad flew C-119's up north and my husband flew Huey's and Loh's around Cu Chi, Xuan Loc, etc, and shh - Laos. This series brought back so, so much that I'd forgotten (Dad still has his big reel to reel tape recorder) and I'm so pleased how much of the reality of that "war" you all managed to show in spite of production limits. I'm watching it for the 2nd time - taking notes this time - and Dad wants to see it too. You have at least one new fan and even tho you don't show up much anymore I'm going to be watching for you! Just might have to buy those St Elsewhere DVD's....
Name: Kathy Fallaw I am a huge fan of the series "Tour of Duty" and your character is my favorite. I think Anderson is so sexy!!! Thanks for a fabulous series.
Name: Jonathan Wow what a wonderful show. You touched us all that watched. Thanks for a job well done
Name: Ginger Enjoyed watching you for years. Am glad to see there is more to come. Thanks for freeing me of my own reality and letting me experience the realities of others.
Name: Linden N Buzzell Love the show tour of duty you sir and all the cast are great.may God Bless you all take care
Name: Kim Merwin Mr. Knox, Tour of Duty was and remains the best series that has ever been aired. It allows people that would otherwise have no inclination what occurred over there to at least be able to have vague comprehension. I grew up with stories of 'Nam, going to VVA meetings since I can remember, frequent visits to The Wall, wearing POW bracelets since I was in elementary school, and going all over the northeast (while still living in NY) to visit the moving Wall. I feel as though I am a better person with a better understanding and even more respect for my dad and the others like him for having had the privilege of seeing this series. Thank you and the others for the work and time that was put in while making this incredible show, that series is monumental. Thanks,
Name: ROBERT BARTON BELIEV E THIS OR NOT (HOPE) THIS GETS TO U...
Name: Sharon McMurray Tour of Duty is my all-time favorite TV drama. I LOVED IT and Terry's character. The original music made it even better.
Name: Anna Hi Terry: I loved Tour Of Duty, my sister (now deceased) and I who were young women at that time never missed an episode. Recently I went shopping and found the complete third season of the show in dvd, I bought it and to tell you the truth so many memories came back to me. All of you were such naturals in your roles. I hope you still keep in touch with some of the guys, you were all really good and the show was very informative, we all got to know more about the Vietnam war. I wish you the best and I hope you keep on acting, take care. Anna
Name: Norm Glaze Sr This Afgan war has me thinking of the nam era. I bought all the Tour of Duty DVD's, and forgot until watching them, just how much I loved them. You are the man Mr. Knox. You portrayed what was best in american men. Thank you for "imprinting" my memeory with something truely good about my country. Sincerely, Norm Glaze Sr
Name: Dawn I am delighted to discover this website. Thank you for the tip, Mr. Woods (or is it Wood?). I have added it to the top of my favorites list! Terence, you are talented, beautiful, and appear to be a pretty good person, as well. What a rare and wonderful combination...
Name: 1SG William Barry (Ski) DuBrosky, Ret Dear Terry, Thank you for the tribute to Ray Stanley. I had the privelege of serving with him in Panama at the Jungle Operations Training Center, Ft. Sherman, Canal Zone. We worked together and played together, and I knew his family very well for the three years we were together there. We kept in touch through the years, and he will be missed very much. "Ski"

Name: Rene Hello Terry, I´ve seen you on the show Tour of Duty. I can only say that i find great Tour of Duty. Impressive was the presentation of Sergeant Clayton "Zeke" Anderson. Best regards
Name: Mary St. Elsewhere has always been one of my favorite TV shows. Loved you in it. I'm currently watching Season 1 and thought I'd take some time to see what you're up to. Glad to have found you here.
Name: Chad Blount Mr. Terence Knox (aka. SFC Clayton Ezekial Anderson) You probably know where I am going with this; but, I do want to tell you anyway. Tour of Duty is byfar the best hit TV war drama I have ever viewed. It did show as close as it can be authentic and depicted to what a soldier's life was in the Vietnam war. I tell you that the sergeant that was the technical advisor for SFC Zeke Anderson was a blessing. During season 1, episode 1; when the captain advised 2nd LT. Myron Goldman (Stephen Caffrey) to listen to the sergeant because the men know him and they trust him; he said the golden words, that is very true. I have not been in the military service; but, I do have many friends in the military and my father was a Marine who was wounded by stepping on a land mine during the Vietnam war. I thank the good Lord above for letting him to continue to live to be my father eveyyday. Tour of Duty aired when I was in junior high school in 1987-88 the 7th grade and I made sure that when it came on I was there. I truly have a sincere appreciation for our service men and women at home and over seas; Tour of Duty helped in my opinion, bring in all front and center at home. To those who did't know what it was all about it told and brought to light of what it was about. I commend you on a job well done and I thank you for playing well the character of Sergeant First Class Clayton Ezekial Anderson. No one could top the performance you gave.
Name: Robert B. Lilly, SGT ARNG I watched all three seasons of Tour Of Duty and I have to say that I'm proud of the honor, commitment, and sheer goodness that was shown by SFC Anderson. It's ending was so sad how the guys got home and felt like they had left there "other family" back in Vietnam. I kinda feel the same way knowing that I will soon finish my tour as well as have nearly 20 years in service in the Army. I am currently serving in Afghanistan, at FOB Lightning and I can only hope that I can maybe mirror some of the attributes of that character, SFC Anderson. Thank You for all of the good memories and I hope that someday I'll maybe able to meet you and shake your hand in appreciation. Sincerly, SGT Lilly
Name: Trig Tour of Duty is, within the limitations of a TV series, a historical masterpiece that helps us all remember our history and what it is to be a real American. It's really good. Terry and the entire cast are excellent actors, the photography is outstanding and don't we love those Huey's?
Name: Cassiano Hi Terry!
Name: Patty Terry, Good Bye and hope all goes well!!
Name: JJ You are a great actor, and you have to be one of the handsomest men who ever was on film. Thanks for choosing showbiz, I'm glad I found your site. What a MAN! xoxoxo
Name: Ian M Awesome run you had during the Tour of Duty Season. Is the original tour of duty webpage with the pics of vietnam and the songs in the background still kicking around? Thanks and best of luck.
Name: carol maher Hi
Name: Paul Regan Favourite performance? Lonely at the Top. The speech given by Zeke to a raw recruit who hasn't even shipped out yet. What a great scene with a fantastically understated performance given by a talented actor. i love the nuances of the character of Anderson, and the way Terry played him throughout the series was stunning. Thanks for all the memories! Time to go watch the DVDs again!

Name: jason cogley Huge Tour of Duty fan here in Uk along with many others, and ur the best!!! I have every TOD Dvd they did the whole set and still watch every few nights as the Tv here is dire!! Bravo !!!
Name: Tommy Great job on Tour of Duty!
Name: Natalie As a teacher I used Brothers , Fathers and Sons episode in the class - amazing reaction. I was trying to make the point with my at risk US history students that no choices in war are easy and "winning" if often a bit more complicated...kids were crying at the end , "Zeke " holding that child made them see something about war and civilians that is missed. TOD still has so much to say.
Name: joanne foley have to say that i am a massive fan of Tour of Duty, loved you in it. Bought the box set but couldnt play it here cos it was region 1, had to go out and by a dvd player that would let me watch it - got my little one addicted to it now too, she is 12, my eldest loved it too, she is 21!!
Name: Dave Zmuda Just wanted to say TOD was great and that there should have been another season! Regardless, well done!
Name: Jennifer Tour of Duty is one of the best TV series my family has ever seen. We have been watching it from the beginning and can't wait to see them all. Sarge is a good guy in so many ways, and always wants to do what's right and take risks to do so. It's too bad there weren't more seasons!
Name: Richard H. Hello Mister Knox, I really enjoyed T.O.D., it was a great series, but I preferred season 1. It seemed more realistic. Your playing as Sgt Anderson was so great. I'd have to say that T.O.D. and Platoon are the main reason I joined the Military back in '89... Kudos and thanks to you!
Name: Lee Curry Just want to say that i think that you were the best thing about TOD!! you were so cool.
Name: Betsy Hi there. I know this is going a ways back, but I just wanted to say how much I loved you on St. Elsewhere. I was very young when the series was originally aired, but I have recently gotten hooked on the reruns which are shown locally on the ALN channel. You were a great "bad guy!" I was actually kind of upset when you were written out because I thought that storyline had a lot of potential! Hope you are doing well. Take care!

Name: Jeremy Dobson I want to start by saying that I am a huge Tour of Duty fan but I also enjoy your other movie roles. I am anxious to see the latest film you shot in France. I had the pleasure of meeting Miguel Nunez last weekend at a convention in Indianapolis. He is a kind man and took time to talk to me about Tour of Duty and told me about you and Tony Becker being in France finishing up your movie. I was wondering if you have any apperances coming up in the Midwest or if you have an address were your fans could purchase autographs? Miguel signed a photo for me of you and him together. Thank you and I wish you continued success.
Name: Amanda Bowers You are a gifted actor and I enjoy watching everything you play in but, none more than Tour of Duty. My brother served in Vietnam and even though he never liked to talk about it, he did comment once that the show was in ways alot like it was over there. Thanks for doing a wonderful job. I have watched it all the way through 6 times and never get tired of it.

Name: anne I was wondering why we see so few of your tv shows & movies over here,& if your planning on visiting this country in the near future. They are showing re-runs of ST Elswhere on channel 4 at the moment, but I would love to see re-runs of T.O.D. again.
Name: anne I was wondering if you are planning on visiting this part of the world in the near future, & also why we hardly ever see one of your films or tv programmes in this country, apart from ST Elswhere, which is being shown again on channel 4.
Name: Jan-Runar Hey Terence

Name: jon the all time best is tour of duty
Name: Sharon Long I can see from your recent photo that you made Tour of Duty some years ago but I have only been watching it here in England for the last couple of months I think it is brilliant and it has made me interested in the Viet War, and how the soldiers were treated when they returned to the states. Oh and of course you were pretty good in it as well. Thanks for keeping the memories of those lost in combat alive. Have a happy life x
Name: Loretta Wardlow I just recently had the opportunity to watch TOD on DVD and I must say I think it is the best series I have ever seen. The portrayal of each character was superb. My Brother served in Viet Nam and I now have an idea of what he and his fellow soldiers endured. You almost forget that you are watching a film and you feel like you are right there. I found myself wondering what each character is doing now. God Bless all the men and women that put their lives on the line at that time for our country.

Name: SFC Lance Duff Thank you for your performance as SFC Zeke Anderson...you really acted like an NCO!
Name: Pat C. Hi, Terry, I've caught you in some other roles since then but wish that a major director would reestablish you as a major player. I can see you in a recurring role on contemporary series like “Damages” or “Dexter”. I’ll keep my fingers crossed! All the best for continued success,
Name: Karen Hi Terry, Not to age myself, but my favorite performances of you have been as Dr Peter White on ER and Sgt Zeke on Tour of Duty. I also cherish the photos and personal notes you sent me in response to my fan mail some years ago. You are a beautiful person!
Name: David Hey Terence, I was just thinking about Tour of Duty & St Elsewhere today and decided to look up your site. Nice setup and great to see you're involved in a new movie. I'll keep an eye out for its release. The reason I was thinking about your older work was that as a Viet vet I was impressed by how well Tour was done for a TV show. From one Washingtonian to another, take care and happy belated birthday.
Name: Sam Happy new year 2010 Terry, I wish that you're in very good form and health with Activize! You're going to carry the film in the summit 'cause YOU have some CHARISMA. SAMIA

Name: Sam Vasquez happy belated birthday and happy new year
Name: Filip Hi Terence,
Name: Terri I was a big "Tour of Duty" fan when the show came out in the late 1980's. I admired all of the characters, but your portrayal of Sgt Zeke Anderson kept me coming back week after week. I was so disappointed when the show was cancelled. I just received all three seasons' worth of DVD:)s for Christmas, and am reminded just how great the show was! And it reinforces my disappointment that it only lasted three seasons. I'll be keeping an eye out for "The Hunters" to watch you and Tony together again.
