Surprise Terry! This is Mom and I'm saying hello to you from Providence. I'm telling you that you are still as handsome as you ever were. I loved you in Tour of Duty and everything you did. I thank you for all you've ever done for me, for all the confidence you've given me, money you've given me, and courage you've given me. I love you forever.

Love,

Mom

Hi terry. I watched St. Elsewhere when it was on the first time and remember Peter White as a real scum bucket. I just discovered it on Hulu and I'm watching it again. Your character still scares me. I'll FF though that rape scene. They always say if people hate your character that much, you're a heck of an actor. BTW I won't watch Patty McCormack in "The Bad Seed" either. Lily

Terry, for whatever reason you popped into my mind and I found your site. I just wanted to give you a shout out and wish you well, I'll never forget that freezing night at Van Nuys airport shooting "Murder One". All the best, Conor

Hi Terry,  My wife and I have just begun to watch season one of Tour of Duty. What a remarkable series! Your role and acting is one of the best we have ever seen on TV. The episodes are so well done that we can't wait to watch all of them. I wanted to ask you, is there any way to get an autographed photo of you from tour of duty? I didn't see any store site to purchase from on your web page. If it's possible, please send to the info above, street number (edited to remove address)  Thanks very much!  Best of luck on your continuing career.  Richard.

I'll always remember you in St. Elsewhere, the show that made me go into the medical field. The cutest one in the cast. You were given such a variety of roles. I found the first season on Hulu - too bad only one season. Glad you remained in acting all these years.

I only discovered Tour of Duty in 1996 when I was 15 years old I had never heard of the vietnam war and so I researched it and it encouraged my future love of american history and american politics which I went and studied it at University and graduated with B.A hons degree. At 15 years old I admit a lot of it was the fact it was a bunch of gorgeous men in uniforms, but I believe a good actor is good when he can make you form an emotional attachment to the character he plays which you did. I felt honesty, trust from your character when I was 15 I wanted a dad just like anderson (I grew up with it just me and mum) but funny thing is by the time I hit my 20's he was the kind of guy I wanted to date. I was a bit slow in my teens and did not know that tour of duty was repeats I thought it was a current show and suprised it was filmed when I was around the time I was 6 years old. I had thought that Tony Becker was only about 5 years older than me so I was suprised how long it had been and how wrong I was. I had a soft spot for danny purcell but it was that southern accent I think that did for me and after that I hear he comes from LA and its not his real accent. I know you have acted in a lot of things but my belief is that Tour of Duty keeps the vietnam war memory alive because so many wars happen now that the past ones are being ignored and my mother says you learn from the past. It helps inform members of countries who were not involved in the vietnam war about the fact there was such a war and because there country was not involved its not taught at schools; no one should be forgotten. You and the other actors who are still involved with work with the veterans have my respect. I hear that in usa they have tour of duty conventions will you have any in europe?
